A small group is a smaller fellowship on 6 to 12 people who every week meet up in private homes to ”hygge”, hang out and talk about our faith. In Copenhagen Vineyard we prioritize our small groups because we are convinced that the life as a believer is best when we live in close community with others – a life where we can share thoughts and experiences as well as happiness and sadness with each other.
Our church is standing on two legs that mutually support each other: the small groups and the church services on Sundays. In the latter, we gather as a larger fellowship to seek community with God, praise Him and be inspired in our faith. In the small groups we attempt to implement our faith and the Sunday’s preach in our daily lives. Of particular importance to these small groups are kindness, compassion and prayer for one another as we help and strengthen each other in moving on in the process that faith is.
You are most welcome to visit one of the church’s many small groups. All groups are open to anyone: both if you used to being part of the Christian community, and if you are entirely new to it.
You can see an overview of the different small groups here. If you wish to know more, you can contact Martin Walsøe who is responsible in the area of small groups on 51 82 44 00 or under Contact us, below.
